Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Policy explains cancellation and refunds for CBAM.School memberships. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Cancelling your membership
You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not, as a rule, refund the remainder of a current period except where required by law or stated below.
2. Consumers: your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have 14 days from entering the distance contract to withdraw without giving a reason, for a full refund.
Immediate digital supply. Before checkout, we ask separately for (i) your express request to begin digital supply immediately and (ii) your acknowledgement that you lose the withdrawal right for that digital content once supply begins, and we record and confirm that evidence in a durable form. Once that consent has been validly given and supply has begun, the withdrawal right is lost for that digital content, as permitted by Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and § 18 of the Austrian Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz (FAGG) (and the equivalent UK rules). If the consent, acknowledgement or confirmation was not validly obtained, the statutory right is not lost.
Service elements. The membership also contains service elements, including the consultant capstone review. These are not treated as digital content merely because they were ordered online. If you ask us to begin a service during the withdrawal period and then withdraw before it is fully performed, any lawful deduction is limited to the proportion actually supplied; the service withdrawal right is lost only after full performance where the applicable requirements are met.
3. How to request a refund
Contact billing@cbam.school with your account email. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
