Questions

Answered before you asked.

What is CBAM School?

CBAM School is a practitioner training academy for the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). It runs 12-week certified courses that teach EU importers and non-EU manufacturers to scope goods by CN code, calculate embedded emissions, manage certificate costs, get data from suppliers, and file declarations they can defend. It is built by consultants who work on CBAM every week.

Who is CBAM School for?

Two audiences and the teams around them: EU importers who now carry CBAM reporting and certificate costs, and non-EU manufacturers (Track B is built for China-based producers) whose EU customers demand emissions data. Customs, finance, procurement and sustainability staff all fit.

When does CBAM School launch?

The first cohort is being finalised now. Waitlist members get the exact launch date and cohort opening first — before public enrolment.

Will there be a free tier?

Yes. A free CBAM readiness scan and the CBAM Radar regulatory-update newsletter are planned alongside the paid membership and the certified cohort track.

Is the certificate officially recognised?

It is CBAM School's own practitioner certificate, earned through two exams and an expert-reviewed capstone. No official government or EU CBAM credential currently exists. It stays valid for 12 months and renews through annual refreshers, so it certifies current knowledge.
